Why we use WordPress for web development
WordPress is the world’s most widely used website building platform, and for many good reasons. Creators appreciate the flexibility and wide range of solutions available, and clients find WordPress attractive due to its user-friendliness and ease of content management. Another important advantage is the community that is constantly working to improve and secure the system. With proper care, WordPress is therefore always up-to-date and safe.
The WordPress community in Brno is alive!
We have been actively involved in building the WordPress community in the Czech Republic for several years. Every month we co-organize a WordPress Meetup in Brno, where enthusiasts and professionals not only from the field of web development, but also design and other marketing disciplines meet. It’s a great opportunity to learn new things, and to make new contacts and collaborations. You can be sure that you will meet us at the Meetup every first Wednesday of the month (that’s when the “siren test” sounds all over Brno). And of course we would be happy if you would come and see us too.
In 2022, we also made a significant contribution to the organisation of the WordCamp conference in Brno. Together with other organizers, we hosted over 250 visitors from all over the Czech and Slovak Republic, filled a large lecture hall and took care of the evening program. Even though the event has been over for a long time, it still remains the last WordCamp held in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
So much for the fact that web design doesn’t have to be boring and just about sitting behind a computer for long periods of time 🙂 .
